Rieucoulon is one of Montpellier’s unique “folie” estates - an architectural jewel inspired by 16th and 17th century Italian bourgeoisie homes. With a passion for historical heritage, design, and hospitality, Rieucoulon’s founders and team continue to innovate and invest in one of Montpellier’s most historic homes.

Our team comes together with a love of history, architecture, and human connection. Francois Lacombe and Wendy Smith, co-owners and chief executive officers, purchased and renovated Rieucoulon with a desire to preserve the property but above all share its incredible beauty with others. After years of living abroad, the couple returned to Europe and established Rieucoulon Events.
Thibault and Jenny, the extraordinary management team, come to Rieucoulon with years of experience in hospitality, brand management, and concergerie. Speaking French, English, and Spanish, they cater to local and international guests. Possessing openness, a love of celebration, and professionalism, this team will help you create a celebration and “sejour” to remember.
